About

Decadent, dramatic and designed to be noticed, Amrapali translates the culture of ancient India into incredible one-off creations. Every piece is handcrafted using techniques that, were it not for founders Rajiv Arora and Rajesh Ajmera, would not be seen outside some of the country’s remote villages. Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra and south India provided the inspiration for the beautiful designs that also weave in parts of Indian heritage from the well-known, such as the lotus flower, which is a symbol of beauty and eternity found throughout the Hindu scriptures, to the shields and vajras (or ritual weapons) of ancient warriors. Wearing one of these gorgeous pieces is the sartorial equivalent of wandering the lush gardens of the Jaipur’s famous Rambagh Palace as the evening sky turns pink overhead.
